    ohhh

The vendors accepted our offer on the house.... Can you tell i'm a bit surprised???

Ian and I are still wondering if we've made the right decision...but it has no gardening required, no renovations, and is less than 2yrs old...AND...It's right down the street from the bike path...We'll be commuting 30km/day & can add more on if we want to..

    Have a good afternoon kids.

Congratulations cc! I think it's a lovely house, looks very low maintenance - the best kind.

WW weigh-in did not go well today, up 2 lbs! Must be the Irish Lamb Stew catching up with me (and the Lemon Drops.....)

Mimi, I have two pairs of Trashy Cat shorts both of which I like a lot- the Balck Satins which I love, and the Sunflowers which I like a lot. I bet you will like the Tigers! I wonder what the chamois is like...

I can't wait to get home to my stroopwaffels. I have both kinds- with and without syrup. I have only had the syrup so far- OMG!!! I can't imagine they'd be better without it. I think I ate three last night. I'm not looking at how many calories they have.

I will let you know about the chamois. if it isn't too great I'll just use it for 25 mile and under rides. That Cannondale Herbal short that i sent back for exchange, they looked gorgeous but they truly felt like i was wearing RUBBER.

Congratulations CC!! How exciting and scary at the same time! Close to a bike path sounds nice. All I've been doing since I moved into this house last year is landscaping and finishing basement...

I just got back from an overnight trip with a bunch 'o wimmin-friends. What a hoot! We drove over the next town (1 hour away), got 2 adjoining rooms facing the lake at a swanky hotel, and ate, drank, laughed, floated down the canal, shopped, generally had an awesome time. For the past 6 years, I have gone houseboating for a week with these 9 ladies every summer but we weren't able to pull it together this year so we decided to at least do one night away. My darling SO agreed to look after my son for two days so I could join the "Ya-yas" as one friend's husbands calls us. I highly recommend female bonding for any of you who haven't ever done it. Every one of us has had a sad story to tell at one time or other so it's also very therapeutic....

Haven't been on my bike for almost two weeks! But I'm heading to Victoria on Friday and planning to do lots of riding. Can't wait! No kids - just me and my sweetie.
