I have a Trek Pilot 2.1 (WSD) and I am clipless... just remember almost all of us who are using clipless went through The Fear to get here. I know I did, and for the first 2 months of them I would clip out like a football field away from anything that seemed to warrant it... now it is pretty much second nature, and I really like them. stick with it, you will be ok! Oh and make sure to set the tension low so it's very easy to clip out and in. You can always tighten it later.

    PALE IS THE NEW TAN!!

Nice bikes, nice legs! Sunscreen is our friend.

LZ - I assume you already know about sunblock clothing. I love my Kokatat shirt. I've also got pigment-less bits on my skin, but it's not from vitiligo. Gotta take care of those critters!

Welcome aboard, you guys! Welcome to the TE Family!

We are everywhere. Check out the local rides section, join a ride or start one!

Mimi -- probably because you didn't already have the clipless pedals? Perhaps they're nudging you gently into the clipped in thing....

Toni -- Amazing find on the jersey -- AND to have it happen to fit!!!

i love the white! (my skin hasn't seen sun in a LONG time, more because we don't have much sun here.)

love the bikes. have fun with them. oh and you need to have this shirt to go along with your whiteness. i wear it with pride.

Welcome Toni and LauraZena! Love the bikes!

I'm jealous of your whiteness...I would prefer to be all white than to have white hands and tan arms. I have yet to find a sunblock that actually blocks the sun!

I just did a ride yesterday with a friend on her new Trek 5000 (it was the maiden voyage) - same bike as yours. Have to say the bike is beautiful - great color and she enjoyed riding it.
