Dear LAF,

I appreciate the fact that you're a charitable organization, and your purpose for these events is *purely* fundraising, but all the same, it seems unfair that riders, just for the privilage of riding in your events, have to raise 10x the money walkers and runners have to. It seems like overtaxing a lot of people who know who you are and do this out of the goodness of their hearts, and there are a lot of people who didn't do it this year because of that $450 minimum difference. ...and don't get me wrong, I managed it, but still...
I'm not sure if I'd be too enthusiastic to do it next year. I'll still do charity rides because now I'm strong enough to contribute my abilities to worthy causes, but... if you still have that high minimum that I'd have to meet myself if I couldn't ask it of others, I just won't. That's a lot to ask of someone on my budget, and a lot of others. We're not all pros etc...

Food for thought.
