Are you asking about the first picture SK posted? That's my bike with Rivendell Speedblends on it. The colors merge together as you ride.

Bikerchick - that bike is V's Ramboiullet. It has SpeedBlend tires from Rivendell.

I try not to look in the mirror but I can't resist. It's futile. Then, hubby takes these pics.

    Lisa.S.H. - actually, I don't know which looks worse.

The colors merge to purple and teal. At around 45 - 50 miles an hour they merge to a kind of ugly blue. I estimate that speed as I've only seen the yucky blue when the bike is in the trainer with no resistance.

You probably just need to find the 2005 model. They were all red. Hmm, I may have to hotfoot it down to the LBS today. Wonder if those racer boys will be honest about my butt in red Castellis. They're still looking for a splitter candidate and hoping . . . I gotta ask why I seem to be the one they like to share the latest porn with?

I love the look of contrasting stitching on cycling shorts and have been searching with no luck for a pair I saw in the 2006 Trek bike catalog. A women is riding wearing a pair of Nike biking shorts with contrasting stitching, page 78. I would love a pair of these. Does anyone have an idea where I can locate a pair, size large? They are not in the current Nike catalog at bike shops.

No kidding. Function first. Besides, so long as when you're wearing them, you're putting miles on your bike, they look great. You're active, taking care of yourself, havin' fun ... of course they and especially *you* look good.

I think that stitches are great. I have a pair of Assos short which I absolutely love. They have excellent padding that lasts for a century ride. They are short, which I also prefer. But the best part about them, they are red, but the butt part is black. And it is definitely slimming!
