What're you guys snortin' at work? I'm definitely on the saddle-baggy sturdy side. Just have skinny calves (I want yellow's calves).

mtbdarby - I think TE has the Castelli shorts in red. I want them but V says red shorts really make you look fat. Based on the wide variety of opinions from this group, I might have to try them on anyway. Of course, then I'd have to ask hubby those dreaded seven words . . .

I have learned to ask "Do you think these are flattering?" That allows him to answer based on the pant style rather than my weight and doesn't provoke a sigh of exasperation.

I thought it was white shorts I said that about. Buy the red Castellis.

Thom says you do not have a big butt. And that you should care more about what Bubba says then anyone else, 'cause he has to look at you.

This is the photo that went with a Cycling News article about the Italians not always having the best fashion sense. Gee, I wonder why they think white shorts aren't chic?

You two, Kim and I were standing in the California Peddler when you said this. You and I were trying to talk Kim of the small butt into trying the red Castellis.

    Tell Thom thanks.

I know someone whose team shorts say "What's not to Like?" across the back.

Ahhh... that's right. I've changed my mind about red.
