We have hawks around here, but not like that!
So, I feel like my toe/foot is finally coming out the other side. I did tabata this morning, including jumping off of the step, and wore my favorite shoes (kitten heels with a pointed toe) at work. It was the first time in 5 weeks I could actually get the shoe on, without excruciating pain. I am walking normally. I still have some pain, but there has been a noticeable change. I think what I am most concerned with is the effect this all had on my balance on my left foot. I have worked so hard on this and it was trashed. I've been practicing one legged standing things every second I can, including in between my clients. Just 2 weeks before this happened, I was saying how much my balance had improved from hiking. Well, it hasn't affected my riding, but I was getting worried about snow sports, especially snow shoeing, with the weight of my boots and the snowshoes. I think I am going to try and not hike except for easy stuff until the snow comes.
