Dear computer-savvy women,

Snapdragon offered me a perfect picture of a doxie, running, for my avatar. I saved it into "my pictures" in my computer, and then tried to upload it as an avatar. The website tells me the picture is "too big". Can anyone tell me how to make it a smaller picture, so I can use it here?

I'm so very early 20th century...sigh.
