You're probably right about the protein, but between the nuts in the pesto, the almond butter and the italian sausage and the whole grain cereal and pasta, I managed to get 53g, and most of it was eaten immediately post ride. I wish I'd had chicken around the house but no such luck. Time to hit the grocery store!
