The races are usually on Sunday here and its hard to do nothing on Saturday especailly if its nice out - but I also want to make sure I have all my energy for race day.
Most of my tris are out of town so Saturday ends up being a travel day and a forced rest day. If you feel you must do something, stick to shorter, low effort stuff, maybe something unrelated to tri like yoga or a nice walk.
