My sons ( in college) have let me know that there is actually a facebook group for kids who are creeped out by their parents' friends "friending" them ( or attempting to, I guess) They told me not to do it in no uncertain terms. I wasn't sure about inviting the cousins' kids to be friends, because I figured they probably wouldn't be interested in having a grownup like me reading their stuff, but one of their mother's asked me about it so I friended them.
