OIC, I didn't realize your race was this weekend... but at Daytona as well as the non-NASCAR races I've been to they do the flyover on race day, not before qualifying. That's why I was still thinking of the D500 as the last race.

Here, we have so much freakin' air traffic with all the flight schools, hobby pilots and Patrick AFB, that we barely notice the flyover.

I'm a bit surprised,too , as I live 2 miles from a relatively busy airport(la/ Ontario), but not in the approach path.
We get the "buzz" for both the Nationwide race(minor league) and the Sprint cup. Although with the attendance last night, they may have to cut back....
