I love these sandals, have worn them for long distance cycling and never have a problem with clipping out. When I first got them, the pedals were tight, but I just adjusted the tightness on the pedals, and bingo, no more problems. It was a pedal issue and not the sandals.

I definitely agree with everyone who said to use the 20% off coupon from REI. That is how I got mine last year when they first came out. I like the idea that Keen might have a closed toe bike shoe, too. But the sandals cured my foot burn and I am not sure I would want to buy a shoe that might give me that problem again!
