The most lovely hair I've ever seen is the really thick hair of a friend of mine. She has never colored it and she's going gray now and it's really gorgeous with all of the gray streaks.

Alas, my hair is really thin, bordering on anemic and it looks like crud with the gray. I've been coloring it myself for several years but it occurred to me a year or so ago that I could pay someone to do it for me (the joys of a long hours, moderately high-stress but reasonably high paying job ) so I found a excellent stylist who knows what I like. Thank gawd she'll be back from pregnacy leave soon!
