My furry baby always slept on the bed with me until recently; now she seems to find the floor/rug more comfortable as she's gotten older. Sam always starts out the night on the bed, however, and seems to have an uncanny knack for either stepping on or laying on the tv's remote control.
Even when she's on the floor, Sam's still close enough that I can hear her "chasing rabbits" in her sleep (paws moving rapidly; little grunts; fast breathing) and catch the occasional snore......Might sound goofy, but I'm happy just hearing her breathe when she's fast asleep---a very soothing, rhythmic sound in the night when everything else is quiet.[Did I mention that I adore her, LOL??!]
