Nice story, snapdragon. Always wonderful to hear about successes, big and small, for people with different abilities. Every success is one to be celebrated.
A colleague of mine has high aspirations for her son. He wants to live in a flat down the road from her, have three cats and go by bus to the local supermarket to work. He's 16 now, she hopes he will have achieved all the skills necessary to achieve this by the time he is 20. If he can do this, she will be thrilled. I think the scariest thing for her is that she may die and he would become a forgotten drifter on the streets.

Anyone here read "Time Travellers Wife" by Audrey Niffenger (may have spelt her surname wrong). Thats a romance with a difference. Good book. Get out the tissues...
