Well sorta . . . but I am down to only 7.5 bikes.

My Litespeed Tuscany was just picked up by her new owner. We've been together since 1999 and she was the first road bike that I spec'd the complete parts build pretty much on my own. For some reason, I had a high turnover on mtbs but not road bike so this was new territory to spec from scratch with Campy. The Litespeed and I had loads of happy miles together. She would have periodic makeovers to get into a serious TT position and then be rebuilt to be a super comfy and fast century bike.

Her new owner, Erika, is a young college student here in town who was just dying to have a Litespeed but knew it would be a long time before she could afford a new one. But back in early June I rushed downtown on my way home from a ride and parked in the town lot with the bike on the hitch rack. Another woman with a Litespeed was getting out of her car so we talked for a few minutes and parted ways. I came back to the car to find a note "I hear you are selling your Litespeed. Please call me!" So I called her last week. It turns out the woman in the parking lot went into the spa and told Erika about the bike, and she came rushing out only I was gone. But I called and Erika got her Litespeed.

Dorky looking picture but here is the Litespeed built as I rode it. She got a bit of a makeover before adoption but just wanted to share her picture.

Then, of course, there is the lovely Bobby who has gone to someone who can actually ride her and love her.

What ever will I do with the extra space?
