    Yup - most folks here ride full suspension in the woods, unless on singlespeeds (some of us are gluttons for punishment ). What you need to ride here is something like my new ride (although I still have to remove the big ring and replace with a bash guard - it's only got one ride on it so far).

    p.s. Any riding I've done in CA has definitely been much hillier than what you would find most anywhere here...
