Thank you!!! I was so distracted after all of that happened that I didn't realize until the next morning that I'd gotten my Triple Crown...lol.
I think that's the perfect title Veronica. I was/am still so dehydrated, I just feel like every bit of moisture has been sucked out of my body. That last section from Benton really did me in. I would take a drink and my mouth and throat would be dry before I could re-cage the bottle. Ugh.
Yes, that was George.I was very worried, it's hard to ride another 120 miles once you have that in your head. He'll be okay, he didn't hurt nearly as much yesterday and he's icing it. The handlebars were sheared and there's a scratch on the headtube...this was his BRAND NEW Cervelo Soloist Carbon, by the way. The one he bought specifically for RAAM. He'll get it fixed this week. Check out the pictures, it could have been MUCH worse. He hit a snow stake and luckily the handlebars took the impact.

That was actually pretty cool. I'm still working on my ride report. The working title is "F*ck, this sucks!" Elevation is not my friend. That's why I'm up at 2 AM drinking more water!
Is he and his bike going to be all right for RAAM?
