Written as the theme song for the movie, it became the theme for Rick Hansen's round-the-world wheelchair journey to raise awareness and funds for spinal cord research in the mid 80's. The lyrics are stirring, and the music just rocks. It's my theme song for my Gitane (the only bike I had back then), but I make sure I listen to it no matter which bike I happen to be riding, especially when I'm having a tough ride.
