Not only will you be closer, but cause of extensive freeway work, getting from the other end of town, even on a weekend, can be a trial. You might also consider the Holiday Inn Express in Windsor, it's north of the start, but traffic will be lighter.

There are a couple pricier ones on the north end of town also.
Thanks, Deanna! I had no idea about the freeway work. The Windsor HI Express is a little closer than the Quality Inn that I'd previously booked. We're planning to ride to and from the start/finish to add a little mileage to the Bunny Ride, but we probably don't want to add too much mileage after the Great BBQ.
