It's not the squirrels I have issue with. They are content practicing their flying skills all day long, trying to get on the bird feeders. What determined little rodents they are. It's the groundhogs. Aaaaaaah! They come in and chew off all of the succulent stalks and then just let them lay. Wire cages around the plants don't help. They just climb them. I set traps now, the humane kind, and then give them a new home far away. I had one who really liked the gas grill. He would climb up in from below and lick everything. Ew! I couldn't figure out why the hoses were off and then I saw him. Powerwashed the grill and gave it away at a yardsale. Got a new one that's totally enclosed underneath. Thankfully, the groundhog's LDL should be lower by now and that's what matters.![]()
