Yesterday's ride was fun. I rode hard to the Junction, working on keeping my cadence up above 80. And as Jo noted, I rode back and forth a few times.
I am so glad I was ahead of the group and did not see what my insane husband was trying to do. But he did get some nice pictures on the descent.

The only place I know of to eat near the 3 Bears is my friend Nicole's house! But if organzing a ride doesn't permit crashing her place, we could meet and start at Orinda Bart (there are plenty of places to eat there). We would just head out San Pablo Dam Road (a.k.a. the damn road - final "n" optional, depending on the head wind) - it just adds a few extra miles on. It still might be too short a ride for some of you climbing/distance maniacs.
I feel obligated to organize something like this, having been officially ordained by SK (ride organizer extraordinaire!)
BTW - I am IN AWE of Thom's bike/camera wrangling skills! And Jobob's for that matter!Keep calm and carry on...
