B: 3 scrambled egg whites, small bowl of bran flakes with skim milk - so far so good

    S: apple

L: Left it at home....arrrrrrrg! Went immediatly to my favorite decadent sandwich place and had a roasted chicken panini with way too much cheese, sundried tomatoes, and they use lots of olive oil. mmmmmmmmmm

Pre-ride snack - banana with little bit of PB

    100 minute ride

D: left-over tempeh stuffed pepper, small roasted chicken breast

5 Toll house cookies and TRYING not to eat any more! I am making some for the guys at my LBS and am finding it totally impossible not to eat any. Really trying not to, but I am pretty sure there is at least one more in my immediate future Better have a really long ride tomorrow, or put in some elliptical time if I can't ride...

2 pieces whole wheat French Toast, with blueberry jam & walnuts, 2 slices turkey bacon, half a grapefruit, coffee

chicken sandwich on whole wheat roll, cole slaw, cup of ginger carrot soup

half a Luna bar before ride (only 16 miles, but hilly and windy)

    and...
went out to a blues club in RI (Chans, Red Rhodie) which serves typical bad Cantonese Chinese food. The stuff I grew up on. I didn't over eat, but had a bit of fried stuff, half an egg roll (worth it) and a chicken finger (not worth it), as well as some heavily salty meat/veggie dishes.

Getting ready for a long ride in the wind.

Never been there, but I know the food! I grew up on it, too. Sometimes you still find one around here that hasn't been renovated, that still feels like the '40s inside, with wood paneling and formica booths. Food is always terrible, but reminds me of good times with family, so I like it.

Don't weigh yourself for a few days! All that salt will affect the scale. It's only temporary.

Well, I started off with a pop tart. I was still hungry so I ate some Lucky Charms. I had a snack of Little Debbie Swiss Cake rolls around 10:30. That 1st pack was good but the 2nd pack was unbelievable. I had some errands to do, so I took the car and left the bike hanging. I didn't want to ride with a full stomach.

Came back and had a stir fry. The veggies sucked though so I pushed them aside and just ate the meat part. I figured, no carbs in the meat, right? I would have liked bacon with it but I'm having that in dinner tonight and didn't want to spoil it. It's about time to head to work so I'm packing some Oreos and potato chips to go with my BLT sandwich. It's the only way I can stomach the sandwich, honestly. (Kit insists I have stuff like spinach and tomatoes on it.)

I try to get down to the cafeteria during my shift for some soft serve ice cream. When they have vanilla as a choice, I grab a large root beer and make a root beer float. OMG!!! I love root beer floats. They're good for you, too. They contain milk.

Then I come home at midnight and have a big cheesy egg omelet or a grilled cheese sandwich before bed, to stave off the hunger pangs. It really works, too. Throw some bacon in either one and I sleep later in the morning. I'm not sure why it works that way, but whatever.
