Help me, I've become a Bag Lady!

They've sucked me in. Veronica and Jo, they're evil!

A Rivendell Banana Bag. Biggest bag I could bring myself to put on a road bike.

It's a different shape than mine I think. You can get a lot into one of those. So when are you going up Diablo again? You can't use no coat as an excuse now.

I think we're going to do Hamilton this weekend.

Humf! I don't think I've ever used that as an excuse.

Saturday, if the rains stay away we're supposed to go play on the singletrack around Lake Folsom with Killer Bea. Her hubby just got a mtbike so we're looking for easy and fun. Need to do something more energetic on Sunday. Haven't even looked at the weather, but now I can haul choices of clothing. My winter jerseys don't have pockets; it's been a pain.

Regarding the shape, it is the same as the one in the Picture but my seatpost extends farther out of the seat tube so the bag hangs at a different angle. I'm going to have to replace the leather seat strap as it isn't long enough for the placement of the Avocet rails.

Sadiekate, Tell me if you still like your Banana Bag. I keep thinking about getting one. Is it fairly easy to attach? It looks divine..........

So far, it works great on the trainer. I may not actually have it out for a test run for a week or so. The Tandem Rally is this weekend so I won't use it.

It is easy to put on but it will have to be emptied to move from one bike to another. Looks gorgeous on my vintage Mercian. I need to get some electrician's tape to put on the seat stays so the leather strap doesn't wear the paint. I'm very finicky that way but then all my bikes look like they were born yesterday.

I know Veronica has one. Maybe LeeBob also? I can't remember.

Rivendell has their bags made by Duluth Pack so they are heck for stout. It's definitely traditional looking.

So I need to add "forgetful" to the tagline now? Bring it on. Group tag line building through the healthy exercise of name-calling.
