Which Brooks B68 Imperial to Buy?

I have settled on a brooks saddle, the B68 imperial. Now do l get the S model or the regular...is there any difference in the cut-out? or is it just the 20mm length?

    Any comments would be appreciated

I just bought a Giant Sedona 17, l went for a ride once on the stock seat for maybe a mile and was sore for 3 days! Just trying to get everything fitting perfectly, it takes time!

I purchased a B68 S (not imperial) for a good price on Amazon. My sit bones fwlt great, but I thought I was going to fall off the bike because the saddle was way too short. Sold it. I would recommend the regular. I have a B17 regular and no problem.

My first Brooks saddle was an S and I quickly regretted it. It felt like something was missing or wrong. I exchanged it for a B17 Imperial and what a difference! More comfortable and better handling.

I haven't heard of anyone who preferred the S. We just don't wear those long full dresses anymore; it was for that that they were made.

I know this is an old thread but I am only about 5 ft tall. Do you think the S would make a difference for someone with my height? The Brooks website suggests the "S" model for people who are on the shorter side. Thanks.
