    Facial Wipes?

I'm wondering if there is a quality product that's gentle and good for the facial skin that comes in a foil packet or something portable to use as a facial wipe after rides when you may be eating lunch at a restaurant but haven't been home to shower yet? I can't believe the amount of road grime that sticks to my sunscreen during a ride--for that matter I'd like to remove the sunscreen with these wipes too! Obviously I'm not interested in anything with alcohol or other drying ingredients.

I carry a couple of packets of Basis Facial Cloths. I have sensitive skin, and I've not had a problem with them.

I like the Olay wet wipes. Just look for one that says Sensitive Skin. You can put it in a piece of foil, or in a plastic bag. I use them every night to take my makeup off and they are very gentle.

+ 1 for Olay. I used them morning and night while camping in S Mississippi two weeks ago.

I use the Neutrogena Deep Clean Sport on-the-go wipes. They are invidivually wrapped in a foil wrapper and the perfect size to throw in my jersey pocket or keep in my workout bag for after the ride.

I'm a big fan of the Ponds face wipes. I have rosacea and they don't seem to irritate my skin at all. You can purchase a travel sized pack that has ~15.

I've been using these as my post-commute "shower".

I like baby wipes for just about everything. They are awesome for cleaning chain grease off my hands, too. Cheap and plentiful.

+1 for the Action Wipes. Martha is totally awesome and the product works really well. Large wipes, they smell great, and they can be repurposed to clean other things.

I use the Ponds wipes at home, but never thought of bringing them along on a ride...I'll have to try that. I do like the idea of the individually wrapped Neutrogena Sport Wipes...I'll have to look for those the next time I'm out shopping.

Me too. They're also good for a quick wipe-down of the bike. We buy in bulk from Sams.

    ha ha

I thought of this today at the end of our mtb event which was pretty dang dusty!

I looked in the mirror & giggled at the sight.. and thought..Ha ha ...Quite a bit of dirt build up on my face(nose & mouth in particular), legs, feet, arms etc but it's just a part of doing dirt time..

So in answer to your question..no facial wipes for us on the dirt and no way am I going to carry anything that removes the evidence! The staff at the cafe I go to after know me now & don't bat an eye when i show up covered in dust

I used Ponds wipes. I keep some in my bike bag as well as my purse, they are great for post-ride cleanup, especially if our group goes out for food after a ride.

I use Wet Wipes. They pack small and light, and won't dry out in the packing if left in a bag for a loooong time.
    Be yourself, to the extreme!
