    Miss Plum

since she isn't a true mixte I'm not putting her in that thread but,

    here she is-

She is the Electra Ticino 8D. She is not built for speed yet gets around speedily enough. Takes the hills of my town with no problem. Very light (aluminum) and very VERY comfy. I'm enjoying her a lot.

Apologies for the hugeness of photos- technical difficulites

Educate me Zen, what keeps her from being a real Mixte? I thought that it had to do with the "divided" top tube? Thanks! She is a beautiful color!

oh she's close enough to be a true mixte- and she's just beautiful!!!!
she's not a true mixte because the top tube doesn't go all the way down to the rear dropouts (it hits the rear seat stay instead).

I love the fenders (are those Velo Orange?) and the basket. VERY nice!!!

Also notice the brake levers in the larger photos... they are French style inverse brake levers

I actually looked up the names of the Clue characters before I went with this and it's Professor Plum and Miss Scarlett but I'm claiming artistic license.

That bike is so you. And now you can get your pie to go and carry it home in your basket.

My Rivendell Glorius has the same rear stay configuration, as will my new bike, and I consider them mixtes. So there.
