We who are about to die....

farewell my lovelies. I leave tomorrow for the Avenue of the Giants half...gimpy knees and all. Do you believe in miracles?

I'm walking this puppy...maybe a little run/walk, we'll see how the knees are. I have my handy KT Tape (it's red!) and my taping instructions.

I hope to finish early enough to stumble back to my hotel, clean up, then go to the Eel River Brewing company. Or not. I may collapse in my room until dinner time.

    My reason for walking:

Have a great time, Snap and please, please try to make it to the brewery (it's a great spot)! That is a beautiful course; mature redwood forests are amazing in so many ways. Walk if you want, run if you want. Enjoy and think about that little bundle of cuteness.

Snap, I'll buy you your first beer (I mean, I swear I'll send you the money afterwards if you make it to the brewery!).

Have fun, kiddo. Good on ya.

Of course we believe in miracles - the picture proves it. Some miracles come in cuter packages than a half marathon, but that's okay. Sweat still counts as a miracle.

You'll do great! If you walk, you have more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you run, you make it to the beer faster. Either way, win-win!

Go Snap!!! Collin is the worthiest of causes. Good on you a thousand times over for doing this for him.

It was very difficult. The course wasn't bad, Nike in San Francisco is harder, but I have not trained enough. I'm web and photo Captain for my team this year, so I spent a lot of my training takiing pictures and not training. It's OK, I knew it would be hard.

I finished, slower than my Nike times, but finished non the less. My knee held up all 13.1 miles, now it's not happy. We went to the Victory Pary, then a few of us shared a bottle of wine, now I think I'll decompress then go to bed.

I'll get some pictures up in a few days.
