    First Tim Tam experience

Okay, so I remember reading some posts about 1 year ago about Tim Tams and how awesome they are. I searched in vain to try this elusive "cookie" and never could find them. I pretty much forgot about them until....today, one of my pt's family members came into visit her and what does she have in her hand??? A brand new package of Tim Tams. I mentioned how I have read about this cookie but have never been able to find them in the stores. She told me that she found them at our local grocery store. After a rather long conversation about the cookie and how I heard about them she opened the package and offered me one. Oh my gosh was it good. I don't know how I have lived this long without having one However, they are very dangerous because they taste sooooo good. I bought a package and put it my freezer for future use. Yummmm

Careful! They are able to speak to you, it's a scary psychic connection. You'll be tempted to eat the entire package....

Timtams are absolutely magnificent!! Don't let anybody tell you that the best way to eat them is to bite a corner off, stick it into a cup of coffee, bite the opposite corner off, then suck the coffee through the Timtam. That is SACRILEGE!!!! Eat your Timtam straight up, the way Arnott's intended

I can find TimTam's at Cost Plus World Market - labeled here as "Arnold's" in a couple of flavors. I try to avoid the aisle

A professor of mine who lived in Australia for several years introduced me to them. She also told me that they're available at Cost Plus World Market, and I also stay away.

    Yummmm....

LOL when I saw the title of the thread I was wondering what a Tim Tam was. I thought maybe it was like a TomTom but for bikes. I wouldn't have opened the thread if I'd known it would give me cookie cravings.

You can get the online at the Vermont Country Store.

They also sell Wilbur Buds, Clark Bars, and other goodies.

And if you miss Emeraude perfume or Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific shampoo, they stock that kind of stuff, too.

Just the other day, I saw TimTams at the local regular grocery store - sold by Pepperidge Farm. Seriously.

I've never had one and I have no intentions of ever trying one...but apparently they are going to be mainstream USA very shortly....
