The good news is that I am excited about my 70.3 race this Saturday and that I have had a steady taper. The bad news is that I have been home with a cold all week and despite feeling a little better today I doubt I will be 100% come race-day.
I have never done a triathlon sick so we'll see how this goes. I'm convinced I can do it though!!!
Kleenex has been packed into my hydration belt and I might stick another pack in one of my jersey pockets, but other than that is there anything I should have on me to help during the race?
Of course I am hydrating like mad & inhaling anything labeled "high in vitamin c" in hopes of getting mostly over this in two days, but I am mentally trying to prepare myself for racing as I feel today.
Any input you have on racing sick would be helpful! Thank you!![]()
