    It finally happened

The incline was so steep, I had to work so hard to keep on top of the rotation, that I pulled, just ever so slightly, up on my handlebars . . . and sent my front wheel up and over so that my bike cart-wheeled backwards down the hill.

Fortunately I was able to do a very ungraceful leapfrog from the saddle onto my butt and dodge my bike as it crashed.

I knew this would happen one of these days . . .

Oh no! Glad you weren't hurt!

I know that won't happen to me because I'm already walking up a hill that steep!!

aren't you supposed to fall UNDER the bike to protect it from hitting the ground?
Glad you weren't hurt! I, too, would have been walking that hill.

OK lime... I'm with Smilie - you do have to tell us how steep this hill is!

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
