    I'm getting married!

I know I haven't been around lately. So sorry! So busy ... as you will see.

Thomas asked me to marry him last night!

We took a walk about 9 p.m. to a small park near my apartment. We were looking up at the stars, holding hands and watching the fireflies. Then I saw a shooting star.

The next thing I know, he is down on one knee. "I love you with all my heart," he said, with tears in his eyes. "Will you marry me?"

Of course I said yes through my own tears and he put the most beautiful ring on my finger.

How quickly and wonderfully our lives can change. The struggles of 2006 are virtually forgotten, and now I know they had a purpose because it is only because of that string of events that I met Thomas.

Wonder if we can go mountain biking on our honeymoon.

    CONGRATULATIONS SUSIE (AND THOMAS, TOO)!

I was wondering where you got off to. So, so very happy for you!!!!! Have you set a date yet? Wedding on bicycles maybe? Perhaps instead of driving away from the reception in a car- you ride your bikes w/streamers attached. Oh sorry- I thought I was getting married for a moment there.

How romantic and perfect for a proposal!!!!!

    Congratulations to you both!!!
Your post brought tears to my eyes. I've been gone from TE for awhile (also being in love ), so I don't know the story of how you and Thomas met. Post it here? Hmmmm? Please....?

I did notice that the title of the thread makes it look like whoever the last poster was is the one getting married! Maybe we could change it to:
