Since there was a recent tofu thread- I'm curious does anyone have any great ideas on how to prepare tempeh?

My favorite is to marinate it in soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic for a few hours (or overnight) then sautee in olive oil with whole garlic cloves.
(each piece the size of a deck of cards, so it's like eating a burger or something. Usually I serve it with broccoli that I sautee in the remaining olive oil after the tempeh is done.)

Wikipedia has a good article about tempeh:

It's a fun thing to cook with because it will absorb the flavor of anything you want to cook it with. The texture is great, very hearty.
