    bikers find python

I saw a story on cnn.com today about a dead python off a bike trail in FL. The person that they interview has her helmet on backwards. It just seemed sad that the one cyclist they interviewed didn't have her gear on correctly. I tried to attach the story but couldn't figure out how.

I'd rather run into the live flamingo than a live python. Somehow I just find the flamingo, I dunno, purdier?

What is up with that woman's helmet? She's wearing it backards, over hat and with the strap incorrectly adjusted. Just odd! But I laughed!

Yes sadly it is on backwards. Sets back ladies cycling 50 years...

I can't tell you how many newbies in my club show up for rides and the helmet is on wrong. If it's not backwards it's on the back of their head, or off to the side, or strap hanging low, something. I tell folks it's not likely you will fall backwards off a bike, my experience (and I am experienced) is you go forward onto the forehead. The helmet need to goes there!

And how about the children you see riding around with their helmet slid to the back of their heads! If they did fall on their forehead, the helmet wouldn't do anything for them.

Yes! Newtons theory of motion. I'd ask them if they plan to do the route in reverse because that's the way their helmet is set up.
