    Cycling Jewelry for Sale

Hi ladies! I've been making spoke nipple bracelets as gifts for friends, teammates, and coaching clients this summer and so many folks have suggested that I sell them that I took the plunge! I wanted to create something a little different than what you see online -- these are custom-made to your design specs (colors, styles, etc) and also made as a high-quality piece of jewelry with silver clasps and wire (instead of just elastic). I think they're pretty cool! Let me know what you think.

    Wow Velo! Pretty!

I love beading myself and often do anklets, earrings, etc as xmas gifts.
Too bad I'm the only one in my circle of family/friends who bikes (other than my DH that is) cuz I love the spoke idea....

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! I've had way too much fun with this. I just got some spectacular beads from a cool shop in San Luis Obispo and I can't wait to work with them. I'm now as addicted to bead shops as I am to bike shops -- it's dangerous. I have more beads now that I'll probably ever use.

I know what you mean Velo. Prior to biking I was very into beading (biking has slowed that considerably) and I think at one point my DH might have threatened to hide all my $$ so I couldn't buy anymore beads.....

I use stones tho, not seed beads or czech beads, etc. I do use some delicas for spacers. I also love working with pearls.

Dang - now I really want to bead and we are supposed to go to the gym tonite..... how do I get out of that one???

Fellow bead junkie, I have a couple thousand dollars of left over inventory from my now defunct side business. I keep thinking I should go through everything and see if I can sell some of it off. Then I think, NO! You should start making jewelry again! So I do neither.
