    Killer biceps set!

OMG! My biceps are sore. As part of Wednesday's work, we did this thing Shawna calls forties. You stand opposite a partner. One of you does 10 bicep curls with a narrow grip. After the ten, the partner grabs the bar and does ten. You alternate by ten until each of you has done 40, also alternating your grip between wide and narrow. We used that curly bar - I'm sure it has a real name . Bar and weights weighed 50 pounds.

We did 3 sets of that combined with three other exercises for back, chest and triceps. Two days later my biceps still look they are being flexed, even though they are not!

Dang V. You make me feel like such a slug. And you know that is totally YOUR fault.

(It's called an E-Z curl bar. I have no idea why, it never seems to make them easier on my end!)

Plyometrics - jumping onto a step and stepping off. Sideways jumps across a cone, jumping forward and backward over something fairly low.

Step ups onto a bench, with or without weights, walking lunges...

Tuesday was all plyometrics - I love those days. They leave me tired and very hungry, but I like jumping! We did some running too, but it was mostly a jumping day.

Oh... and Wahine has a series of videos about exercises with a fit ball, that really work hamstrings and butt!

I agree 100%! I've not had the budget for a trainer/coach. But - I haven't found anyone I would want to use near me yet, either....

So, I come back to the forum after over a year, (I think) and find this. It makes my heart all warm and happy.

    Thanks V.
