    abiquiu area: advice needed

Hey ladies: I'm going to be in Abiquiu for about a week to play in a chamber music festival this summer. As a Texan I ride in the hot summer ok so that shouldn't be a problem, but am excited to have an opportunity to ride in a totally new place. Any ideas? Is anybody from that area or have any experience in that area? Oh, am a road biker.

    This one?

    From Wikipedia:
Abiquiú (pronounced /ˈæbɨkjuː/), or Ha'ashgizh in Navajo), is a small unincorporated town located in Rio Arriba County, in northern New Mexico in the southwestern United States, about 53 miles (85 km) north of Santa Fe. In the 1730s, it was the third largest settlement in the New Mexico Territory. Artist Georgia O'Keeffe lived there from 1949 until her death in 1986 at 98 years of age. Today, the area is best known for the annual Abiquiú Studio Tour, which takes place each Columbus Day weekend
