    TE Folks, I MADE IT!!!!!

    To disable ads, please log-in.

    Yup, I did it!!!!!

I managed to walk 3.5 miles in the MS walk this past weekend!! I had hoped to be able to do the 6 miles but I had a real bad neurological spell back in March that set me waaaay back in my walking. Plus, the 6 mile route was not condusive to my walker, (the rain we have had washed out most of the 6 mile path). So long story short I managed the 3. I can say nothing but GREAT things about the MS Society. The walk was well supported, the people were fantastic, and the SAG wagon was readily available however I am far to stubborn to accept a ride. Thanks for all of your donations and good karma I made it!!! If any of you who donated would like a slip for tax purposes I have some. Just e-mail your name and home address to me at krichard2@juno.com.

    Thanks Again

    Yay Karen!!!

I am so over the top proud of you! That 3 miles was your Ironman! And you should be justly rewarded for it!! I actually have tears in my eyes right now I'm so happy for you.
Our good friends brother was diagnosed w/ ms back around 2000-01. He was career army, and a totally active healthy guy. He has gone through some nasty surgeries, and it breaks my heart to see what MS does to people!
I'm so happy that you were able to do the walk!
I bet you were an inspiration to many out there! Heck I think I can speak for all of us when I say you are an inspiration to ALL OF US here on TE!!!
    hug, love bugs, and flutterbys!
    Denise
