Sounds like allergies to me. Sometimes if I get really stuffy, rather than a runny nose it drains down my throat causing soreness and making me nauseated.

I have a question. Yesterday I went for and hour-long ride in Chicago. We had pretty strong winds and the Mother's Day traffic was pretty steady. This morning I woke up with a really sore throat, a runny nose and almost lost my breakfast on the bus going to work. I propmtly got off and walked back home. Any ideas on what might have caused this? Maybe pollen, dust and vehicle exhust? I was sucking wind pretty hard. Anyone else had this problem before? Thanks.

Just went thru this after riding in a park, but it was a nasty eye infection. I figure it was pollen. Cleared up quickly, tho.
