I found a beautiful wool coat at the Junior League Thrift Shop for $15 - best $15 I ever spent. Find the Thrift (charity) shop where the rich ladies donate their clothes. Some of the donations are scary, have probably been there for years, but others are very nice.

The one thing about thrift shops is that if you want something specific, say a white blouse, you probably won't find it. But if you go in with an open mind (and wallet), it's amazing the treasures you can find. And somedays, I walk out empty handed.
