Seeing Kitsune's pic got me thinking about starting up a thread to see everyone. Normally don't really like having my photo taken, but for some reason I love to see photos of myself on the bike (hope this doesn't sound vain....)
these are some of my favorites:

This is at Six Gap last year. The only event photo I've come even _close_ to not looking hideous in. Probably because this followed an 11 mile downhill.

Here's hoping my upload works...
i dont have any even pictures, but I just wanted to say that you all look really good.
Nice pictures everybody - I would think of posting one, but have no idea how to. The usual <img src="blah blah"> doesn't seem to work....
Eden - wow! If you tell me you aren't fast, I still wouldn't believe you after seeing those

Duh~! Darn, missed that one thank you, now all I need is a picture!Originally Posted by mimitabby
Hmmm, I'm a shutterbug and yeah, Hammer's photo is cool. Methinks the lens was being manually zoomed while the picture was taken. It is actually easy to do - getting it right is another story. Hammer though, definitely got it rightOriginally Posted by mimitabby
Don't have one of myself on my bike (need to have DH take one I guess), but wanted to say that your pictures are all great!!! I like to see them (and to put faces with names). Keep posting!

bikerchick, is the background in that picture real?

Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

Here's one of my Photocrazy pics from the Marin Century this past Saturday.
LeeBob and I went by at 10:55
This is from my first real event this past Saturday (obviously before the ride). At one point, my bf and I got lost (bad cue sheet directions). I stopped and had my left foot unclipped and on the ground, my right foot still clipped in. I turned my body around to the left, to ask bf - which way? and I started to lean to the right. Of course, still being new to clipless, I just panicked and fell completely over to the right.
Long story short, the "topple" left an 8 inch scratch on my left forearm - still can't figure out how.
Bf said if I wanted, we could come up with a better story about how it happened (as opposed to, "I just...fell over"). Ah...battle scars.
I haven't been successful at submitting pics thus far. Let's see if this works.
