I'm not one for tattoos, but I'm liking these. The snake one is gorgeous, the trilobite is awesome (because trilobites are awesome), and the bio-organic chemist in me loves the caffeine and glutamic acid.

Great site! Not sure I want to wear on my body my many years in science. And I sure as heck feel like I wear those years getting the PhD on my soul, and not in a good way. I totally get the - this was less painful than grad school - comment.
Hmmm, though it does find me wondering what I would do. My focus has changed a few times over my career, so if I put say, the structure for cocaine, on my body when I was working on my dissertation, it would be outdated now. Would I have to keep updating my body the way I update my CV?

I'm not a science nerd but do they have a TAT of caffeine?

A friend of mine from college has a science tat! She got it when she was a fifth year senior. Now she's off at stony point hating research or something.
It's a neuron!
Did you see the bike science nerd tat?
