Talking I won my first race!

Mc Mud Fest, 3 laps of 3.5 miles in the gloppy goo.

    I won my class...beginner women 40+. Woo-Hoo.

I was just out there for fun, my buddywho just moved up to sport convinced me to do it just for fun ( she took 5 in her class, sport has a lot more riders)

I tell you , yesterday morning did not look too promising as I awoke to a steady rain that had been going on for 12 hours. But I told myself I would not weenie out, and it did sort of quit by the afternoon. The sun even came out for the last lap.

All the indoor riding this winter was a good thing, three laps and I was just getting into the groove and I could have easily done more.

Don't know if I'll even do any others this year but it was a very fun time... even for my second ride of the year.

    Nice one Irulan.

What a cool start to the season! Looks like the competition is going to have to keep on eye on you this year - if they can...!
