My plan is still to attend on Sunday. Will be coming round the Beltway from Sterling.

Ice skating sounds like fun. It's been years since I've put on ice skates but I'm up for it.

I plan on bringing a friend with me, too. She's a cyclist and kayaker, as well.

No lunch for me tomorrow Crappy Ex-Mas schedule and lame co-workers who've stuck me with finding a gift for our boss. Y'all have fun and drive safely if the weather's icy.

OK, so we're meeting at Mandalay at 930 Bonifant Street in Silver Spring at 1 tomorrow, right?

Zen, it may be easier to pick you up at the Takoma Station since there's so much construction at the SS station. What do you think, Regina?

I'll be there. And from the looks of the forecast, I will be there without a ride beforehand (except maybe for rollers).

Construction at Silver Spring doesn't impact access to and egress from the Metro station. It's fenced off well and there are pedestrian ways maintained, but you have to walk AROUND the construction site.
    See:

Get off SS on the South (east?) side - where it says "to buses". If you come down the double escalator, take the exit on your right (the one with lots of turnstiles, not just 3). Walk straight out past the construction site along Colesville Rd, up the hill to your right on Wayne Ave, a right on Georgia Ave., first left across GA onto Bonifant. The restaurant is halfway down the block on your right.

I don't think I'm gonna be driving in this. Remember, I live north and west, back in the woods over the mountain and in the holler
I'll let you know tomorrow fer sure

But Zen isn't walking to Bonifant. I'm picking her up, if she is able to come. So I thought that the Kiss & Ride area was affected by the construction.

I still plan on coming with my friend. I'm hopeful it'll only be rain, which shouldn't be a problem.

I'm jealous to have missed the get together.

However I basically got a private ski lesson at a-basin today (noone else showed up) and it snowed all day, so I won't complain too much
