I'll be away skiing on the 13th, so can't make it. But I have no idea if I can make the 20th, that's getting close enough to christmas that I'm sure I have to go to someone's christmas party somewhere.

Enjoy! One of these days I'm going to make it to one of the group things.

Didn't you just hack up some lung tissue on a skiing trip, or is that what you're planning to do on the 13th?

Leaving on the 6th. BAck on the 16th. I'm hoping that this sore throat goes away and I don't have to hack up a lung on my ski trip. it hasn't fully developed into a cold, but my sore throat is getting a bit sorer.

    stupid body.

I don't know what that is. Is that the dessert I can't eat because it's not vegan? Love the sticky rice dessert.

And the tofu with sour mustard.
And the yellow beans with onions.
    And the papaya salad.
    And the samosa appetizer.
    And the pineapple ice cream.
    And the coconut ice cream.
And the veggies with tofu skins.
And the noodle dish that's four different noodles.

I love that place. I think we should go there for our lunch on the 13th.

I just confirmed that I'll be out of town that weekend (meeting Michele on a business trip).

    Have fun!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

    So.....
Mandalay on the 13th? Or do you prefer the 20th? How about noon? 1 p.m.? If the weather is good, I'd likely do the shop ride in the a.m., so I won't be the freshest (but I'll be HUNGRY!), but I could bring a change of clothes and at least be in clean(ish) clothes.
If it's 1 or later, I'd likely go home and clean up for real.

The 13th; the 20th is too close to Christmas. (Plus I wouldn't be able to make it. )

Mandalay is fine with me, but I hope others will weigh in.

Oy, it's going to be tough for me to do either of those days since they're the only days off I'll have after this coming Monday. If it's ok, I'm gonna have to play it by ear and give y'all a last minute RSVP.

I can make it on the 13th to Mandalay. Just let me know what time has been agreed upon -- Noon or 1:00 pm.

I just remembered that one thing about Mandalay is they won't seat you until the whole party is present. So if we have anyone who is chronically late it might not be the best place to go.
