    Hi All!
Okay, first of all. It's supposed to snow today or tonight and it's really cold. But I was willing to brave that.
Second of all, my night at work last night started off really bad because of a small situation involving one of my patient's from the night before. No one got hurt and I admit that I made a mistake. I even apologized for it and offered to write myself up in an incident report. But they just kept telling me over and over how I'd messed up. Grr...that didn't make me feel good.
Third, the night just went downhill from there....too many patients, too much to do for one person, and confused patients galore!
Fourth and final, this morning as I was helping to bathe a patient, I stepped on a piece of equipment in the room and my bad knee (the one I've had ACL surgery on twice) twisted, buckled and popped sending me to the floor in agony. So now I'm off work, on crutches, it's cold and I can't ride my bike!!!
    I can't do anything! Grr. I'm upset.

please get well soon! I am sorry about your recent turn of events.
Sounds like this could be a wake up call to management that if you over work your staff, they get hurt? (and then you have even LESS staff)!!

You can sit on the couch, open a beer, and complete your workers' comp paperwork.
    Sorry you were hurt.
