    WABA's 50 states and 13 colonies tour
    August 25

This unique full city tour covers all 50 state streets in all 8 wards in search of the Disctrict of Columbia's statehood.

The 60+ mile ride is for cyclists experienced and comfortable with riding through the city streets with traffic. Does such a long ride seem like a daunting task? Then try our shorter, 15 mile, 13 Original Colonies Tour. The 13 Original Colonies Tour goes on each of the avenues named for one of the 13 original colonies.

I saw this, but I can't imagine riding 60 miles on city streets. It would take forever with all the stop lights and stop signs! Unless the people who do the ride just blow through them...

I had a great time doing the 50-states ride last year, although I only got to 27 since I had an afternoon music lesson. It was hot, and a whole lot of fun. It's a great way to see the city.
