I just got the hiccups, and for the 2nd time in a row I managed to knock them out with an accupressure point the massage therapist at our clinic taught me. Like, instant gratification, man! Hit the points and the hiccups STOPPED! (again!) (last time was about 2 weeks ago)
Find your left and right collar bones near your sternum. Slide off your collar bones into the dip between the collar bones and the next rib. Slide down to the NEXT dip (rib) lower. It will feel very tender! Keep pressure on those spots for 20-30 seconds.
Yay!

I think it's more like the 3rd or 4th rib, but it's the 2nd dip from the collarbone in any case. The first thing I've ever found that got rid of hiccups IMMEDIATELY! faaaaab-u-lous!
