TOOOOOOO much work to list them all. My favorites:

    Climbed Mt. Fuji alone

Saw the Northern Lights at 35,000 feet in a plane--spectacular!

Been to Paris multiple times and love it

Been to the Women's World Cup Final in the Rose Bowl in 99, and an FA-cup quarter final at Stamford Bridge

Had a date with Mr. Salsa that included a hot air balloon ride

Watched major meteor storm five-six years ago

Even with all the tough stuff, it's a good life, huh?
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." Lots of people have stolen signs. Confess and tell us what signs you stole and why.

I have not stolen any signs, but my favorite stolen sign was one of those "Prepare to Unload" signs that you see at the top of a ski lift. It was mounted on the door of an outhouse owned by the MIT Outing Club.

I'm impressed with those of you who have saved someone's life. I wonder how many of us have done that without knowing it?

Also had the same thought about causing an accident.

Oh my, I had a whole sign-stealing summer one year. I had lots and lots. My maiden name was Park so we were partial to Park signs.... The why? Mostly because I was stupid and wanted to impress my peers, and self-centred enough not to consider the inconvenience, expense, and danger of missing signs...

My daughter followed in my footsteps for awhile and I found her stash in my basement once. She and her friends were having a good time stealing street signs that were also famous names. My personal fave was Chandler and Bing.

    24. Given more than you can afford to charity -- well, not really more than I could afford, as I'm still solvent.
    25. Looked up at the night sky through a telescope
    26. Had an uncontrollable giggling fit at the worst possible moment -- is there ever a good moment?
    30. Had a snowball fight
    32. Held a lamb -- and bottlefed it, and had it traipse around after me on the farm all summer, and then eaten it come winter ... it's what happens when you grow up on a farm.
    33. Seen a total eclipse
    34. Ridden a roller coaster
    36. Danced like a fool and not cared who was looking
    38. Actually felt happy about your life, even for just a moment
    41. Taken care of someone who was drunk.
    42. Had amazing friends
    43. Danced with a stranger in a foreign country
    46. Backpacked in Europe.
    47. Taken a road-trip

    66. Visited the Great Wall of China
    68. Fallen in love and not had your heart broken -- met in 72, married in 75, still going strong.
    69. Toured ancient sites -- Pompei, for instance.
    72. Gotten married -- yep, and on a Friday the 13th! (see 68)

    106. Lost over 20 kilo (again changed to kg) -- was sick at the time, wound up looking like a Holocause survivor before the docs worked out what was wrong, then overshot the mark when building my weight up again. Wish I could lose that much now, without going into a tailspin.
    112. Won money on a T.V. game show -- about $9000 in the national lottery (drawing is on tv)
    113. Broken a bone
    114. Gone on an African photo safari

    119. Had major surgery
    122. Slept for more than 30 hours over the course of 48 hours -- tipped my highchair backwards as a kid, hit my head on the counter and had a concussion. Mom called our doctor, who said she should keep me awake. Next day she called again to ask how long she needed to keep me awake. "Ohmygosh, let her go to sleep now, by all means!" A day and a half later she called again to ask when she should wake me up. I think I slept 36 hours straight, or so Mom has said.

    137. Skipped all your school reunions -- was planning on skipping them all, but had a change of heart this summer at the 40th. Glad I went. We've all grown up and have learned to be civilized.
    138. Communicated with someone without sharing a common spoken language
    139. Been elected to public office -- 2 terms on a city neighborhood council as representative for the Socialist Party
    149. Caused a car accident -- only a couple of minor fender benders in over 40 years.
    150. Saved someone’s life -- Saved Trek420 from drowning when she got a cramp swimming in a cold Norwegian lake at age 13. Saw her wave an arm, go under, come back up spashing. Dove in, swam out and towed her to shore. Some day she'll do some aikido move and save me from an assassin. Then we'll be even. Or maybe we're already even since she got me back into riding my bike.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

I too of the short attention span...

    couldn't read the whole list...

Especially since some of them are so pedestrian (changing diapers?).

But I'll tell you a couple of things I've done that I doubt many of you have:

    1. I flew through power lines in a small plane, and lived to tell about it.

    2. I played Bozo Buckets!

I have done to few of them. Sheltered life.

I did start giggling at the wrong time. I was a teenager when one of my aunts died. My cousin's and I were talking about how when you look at dead people, your eye's play tricks on you and you imagine they are breathing. Happened and I started laughing about it. OOPS!

I have saved a life, though I question it on a regular basis. Gave DH a kidney. He better watch it, I will reposess

    Really?? Wow!

It's none of my business of course, but if you feel like answering: did that change the relationship between you? Do you feel you still have a kind of increased responsibility for him?

Not at all. We are fortunate enough to have a very strong relationship, and it brought us even closer together. I always told people that God put us together for great reasons.
