Well, training for a week of riding does eat up your life
But you're in for the ride of your life, it's a great week .... provided that you train. If you don't it's kinda he**'ish.
To that end I vowed to do more commutes, errands by bike, an easy way to slip some miles in.
A brief hitch in my plan:the ancient seat of my GT commuter has decided "I need to be replaced now, I'll notify you this way...". Oww oww oww.
My rides last week....kinda painful....if I had a romantic life to be impacted by the bike it'd be sad Maybe it's good that I don't?
Now I need to get a new saddle and seat post so I'll take the bike in Saturday on the way to a brunch with friends. Chris (wrench) suggests the Terry butterfly which I've never tried. I had a Terry Liberator before, it was ok. Hmmmmm.
